Bei Herstellung von Ringelwaare mit zwei oder mehreren verschiedenfarbigen Fäden ist es im allgemeinen nöthig, dafs von dem Faden je einer Farbe zwei oder eine gerade Anzahl Reihen gearbeitet werden, weil der Mitnehmer seinen jeweiligen Fadenführer immer nur auf der Seite stehen lassen kann, von welcher er ihn zuerst mit fortnahm, wo er also den vorigen verlassen hat.When producing stripes with two or more different colored threads it is generally necessary that two or an even number of each thread of a color be used Rows are worked because the driver is always only on its respective thread guide can leave the side from which he first took him away, so where he left the previous one has left.

Letzterer reicht vom Schieber / herab, welcher stetig durch J₁ vom Schlitten d hin- und hergeschoben wird, und d endlich erhält in bekannter Weise seine Bewegung vom Röfschenschlitten des Stuhles. Die Schiene e, auf welcher / mit / sich verschiebt, ist drehbar und wird durch eine schon bekannte Vorrichtung so gewendet, dafs der Mitnehmer/ entweder in den Schlitz von α, oder b, oder c, eingreift und einen der drei Führer mit fortbewegt. Fig. 2 zeigt, wie der Führer α (weifs) soeben links stehen geblieben ist, wie ferner b mit rothem Faden von/ nach rechts verschoben wird, um eine rothe Reihe zu arbeiten, während c (weifs) auf der rechten Stuhlseite steht. Ist also der Mitnehmer/ mit b rechts angekommen, so schwingt er vorwärts nach c und schiebt c mit dem weifsen Faden nach links zurück. Mit c werden nun weiter alle diejenigen Reihen gearbeitet, welche bis zur nächsten rothen erforderlich sind, und das kann immer nur eine gerade Anzahl sein, dann bleibt c wieder rechts stehen, /, schwingt nach dem mittleren Führer b zurück und verschiebt ihn nach links zur nächsten rothen Reihe oder zu einer ungeraden Anzahl der letzteren Art, worauf, beim Wechsel, wieder α in Thätigkeit kommt.For the production of two-colored rings or horizontal stripes I use three thread guides α bc of the accompanying drawing, of which α and c threads of the same color, e.g. B. white, while the middle b is a thread of a different color, z. Bei mehr als zweifarbiger Ringelwaare sind knmer für diejenigen Farben zwei Führer zu verwenden, welche in einer Reihe als Ersatz der Leerreihe einzutreten hat.
