Description

Stencil for sandblasting blower and method of making the Stencil Stencils for sandblasting blowers, with the help of which surface patterns on glass and the like, "ground previously from thin metal foils or from gelatinous - made to hold. The stencils made of metal foils can withstand the impact by sandblasting only for a short time. As you use it, the metal gets stronger and stronger bulged and the contours of the stencil indistinct. The metal template provides especially with fine drawings, very soon no more accurate picture. The stencil from gelatinous masses it lacks the required toughness, so that they are easy tears away and thus becomes unusable. Usually it can only be used once. To fix it these disadvantages is proposed according to the invention, the template made of vulcanized Manufacture rubber. The elasticity of the rubber prevents that of metal stencils bulging that occurs. The rubber stencil retains its own even after long periods of use given shape. It does not accept sand when it is applied, it is repelled, without changing the shape of the template and thus making the outlines indistinct to cause. The inherent toughness of the rubber also prevents the Template when placing or removing the material to be matted while its flexibility allows the template to adapt to each body shape allowed. Templates for fine drawings can be; like dYe 'lasting longer Attempts have shown to manufacture only from rubber.

The rubber stencil according to the invention is produced by means of a metal cartridge, in which the surface pattern by engraving or in other Way is sublime. The counter-punch to this cartridge is plane-parallel sanded to the face of the pattern. A raw rubber layer is used during manufacture inserted between the cartridge and the counter punch. and both pressed together, so that the rubber compound is displaced at the points where the surface pattern on the Counterstamp hits. The strength of the pressure depends on the extent of the mass to be displaced by the cartridge. By this method according to the invention it is possible on its own, even fine surface patterns finite. hair-thin lines in the Rubber stencil. The template is then either vulcanized or the stencil is vulcanized in the mold.
