Description
Electron tube with light bulb display For tuning display in radio sets or also, in general for measuring purposes as well as in numerous technical applications, tubes are often used in which the light bulbs in, \ bh. #ngigikeit of applied control voltages greater or lesser degree in different places to Aufleuch # t. "- n is gebrachst The räumlichü expansion of one or more Daibei emergent light spots is because in a measure of the applied control voltage While the usual handy display tubes.!. with 1- £ uch-tsch, irm an essentially truncated cone-shaped luminescent screen is used, in which one or more sectors are made to light up, there are also display stirrers in which the luminescent screen has a narrow, elongated shape according to the type of thermometer, ie one or more light spots are generated, the length measurements, measurements are a measure for the applied control voltages.
In the manufacture of such light bulbs, as they are particularly important for low volt speeds, the phosphors are applied to conductive substrates in a very thin layer. The conductive base consists, mostly of metal, in order to ensure sufficient electrical and electrical conductivity. On the other hand, this document should also, in many cases, especially when the Leuchtschirrn will seek loading from the front, visually reflect well. Finally, the requirement is made that it is not a bad conductor. Contains oxide layers, care must also be taken that no other substances are used in the material which, through immigration, damage, damage or even destroy the phosphor itself. This object is achieved by the invention. The invention consists in that the fluorescent screen is designed so that the phosphor is on a silver base. The luminescent material expediently consists of silicate phosphors. For reasons of economy, the silver base can be applied thinly and, if necessary, designed as a thin silver-plating layer. As a carrier z. B. iron or nickel, the silver layer can be applied by electroplating with a copper intermediate layer by vapor deposition and similar methods known per se. It is also possible to use non-conductive documents such as B. glass, ceramics, etc., which are provided with a conductive layer by suitable methods. Here, the silver layer is applied either directly or onto a suitable intermediate layer.
Auf diese Weise läßt sich wirksam verhin#dern, daß Substanzen vom Leuchtschirrnträger durch Einwanderung dien Leuchtstoff schidigen oder gar zerstören. elIt should also be noted that the invention is not Way is limited to phosphors made on the basis of silicate. For Fluorescent screens in A-n # pointer tubes with low electron sensitivity are suitable In addition to zinc silicates there are also 7, inberyllium silicates, zinc oxides, zinc cadamium, sulfide selenium etc. The invention is also important for fluorescent substances made from substances such as barium phosphate, Lead phosphate, titanates or the like. While the silver base is used for zinc silicon moisturizers essentially has the meaning of a well reflective background, through which a significant increase in brightness is caused, arise by the invention for sulfides, sulfide selenidia, etc. still further advantages. at These, substances -, a silver intermediate layer prevents luminescence-damaging effects of faceplate metals onto the fluorescent screen. This is especially important if the screen carrier is made of iron, nickel or the like. In this way can be effectively prevented that substances from the lamp holder by immigration the luminescent material shed or even destroy. el
