Durch Drehen des Oberteils in Richtung auf das Unterteil kann der Pinsel bis zum restlosen Verbrauch der Flüssigkeit dem jeweiligen Flüssigkeitsspiegel angepaßt werden. Der Pinsel kann mit einer Wulst- versehen sein, welche im Sitz des Fortsatzes einen luftdichten Abschluß gegen die Flüssigkeit bildet. Der trichterförmige Einsatz verhindert ein Herauslaufen der Flüssigkeit bei schräger Benutzung oder beim Umkippen des Gefäßes.
