Description
Rohrverbindungsstück Gegenstand der Erfindung sindRohrverbindungsstücke bzw. Fittings, die auf ihren Anschlußenden Gewinde tragen. Um den Fittings eine widerstandsfähige Oberfläche zu geben, hat man sie vor dem Anschneiden der Gewinde feuerverzinkt. Es ist auch schon versucht -Nvorden, die Gewindeteile feuerzuverzinken, indem man die fertig angeschnittenen Fittings in ihrer Gesamtheit mit einem durch Feuerverzinkung hergestellten Überzug versah. Trotz sorgfältigster Arbeitsweise läßt es sich hierbei aber nun nicht vermeiden, daß die Gewinde ihre iMaßhaltigkeit verlieren, so daß sie nachgeschnitten werden müssen. Dadurch wird ihr Zinküberzug beschädigt und größtenteils wieder entfernt. Schließlich ist auch noch versucht worden, den fertigen Fitting in seinerGesamtheit galvanisch zu verzinken. Bei der Eigenart dieser Verzinkung ließen sich wohl auf den Gewindeteilen genügend dichte und maßhaltige Zinküberzüge herstellen, es gelang aber nicht, infolge der verminderten Streuwirkung die übrigen Teile des Fittings, insbesondere das Fittingsinnere, mit einem ebensoguten Überzug auszustatten.Pipe connector The invention relates to pipe connectors or fittings that have threads on their connecting ends. Durch die nach dem Gewindeschneiden vorgenommene galvanische Verzinkung werden auch die Gewindegiinge mit einem sie schützenden Zinküberzug versehen, der dann aber, weil er auf galvanischem Wege erzeugt ist, die Maßhaltigkeit der Gewinde nicht beeinflußt. Man hat es nämlich mit der Stromstärke und der Einwirkungszeit in der Hand, eine ganz bestimmte, gleichmäßig dichte Zinkschicht auf dem Gewinde niederzuschlagen, eine Schicht, die man bei der Bemessung des Anschnittgewindes von vornherein ohne weiteres berücksichtigen kann.These lines are now in the new pipe connector or Fitting avoided.
