Description
The extendable steel supports used to date to support the Formwork scaffolding for concrete structures have the disadvantage that if the telescopic pipes are fixed against each other by means of screw clamps, the connection always remains unsafe because it is difficult to tighten the screws is controllable and becomes more and more unsafe due to wear and tear over time. Furthermore, constant actuation of the screws makes the formwork work more expensive. An improvement this tube is made by inlaid cones, but these also leave supports there is still a defect. In concrete construction, the supports must be appropriate the progress of creation by small amounts, often only a few millimeters, be raised or lowered. It is the same when stripping the hardened concrete structure required that the support is only released very slowly, in fractions of a millimeter so that the concrete structure slowly comes into tension.
To improve these supports, an extendable support has been chosen, which Fig. i shows in side view, Fig. 2 in cross section. Fig.3 represents the Floor plan of the support with base plate, cut at height A-B, looking down in the direction of the arrow. The tube i at the head of the support has the same diameter as the short tube 2 at the foot of the support. Both can be accessed via the middle tube or slide the massive steel cylinder 3. The upper tube i supports the formwork construction a head of any shape, 4. The foot tube 2 is welded onto a foot plate 5. Triangular steel sheets are used for better stiffening between the foot tube 2 and the foot plate 5 6 welded on. The head pipe i is provided with several through holes 7. These holes are arranged at greater intervals along the entire length of the pipe. That Middle piece 3 has several through holes 8 at small intervals at the head end. When moving the upper tube i against the 'middle piece 3, both Pipes through a split pin 9, which each through opposite holes 8 and 7 is plugged in. Foot tube 2 and middle piece 3 both have one another opposing recesses for receiving a wedge i i. Should any Height can be adjusted, so the upper tube i can be moved against the middle piece 3, the coarse adjustment is carried out through the holes that are further apart 7. A finer adjustment is made over the few. attached at shorter intervals Holes 8, with split pin 9 used to fix the two tubes against each other. the The finest adjustment is made by driving in the wedge i t at the foot of the support. When stripping the formwork, the wedge is slowly lowered and loosened by loosening the wedge Support as required for the concrete structure.
