Die zu Injektionen dienenden Spritzen werden bisher vom Arzt in kofferartigen Behältern mitgenommen, die keine Möglichkeit bieten, die Spritzen steril zu halten. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Apparat zum Sterilisieren derartiger Spritzen, der bequem in der Handtasche.des Arztes mitgenommen werden kann und unbedingte Gewähr für eine dauerhde Sterilisierung der Spritzen bietet, derart, daß die einzelnen Spritzen und sonstige zugehörige Geräte an Ort und Stelle in vollkommen sterilem Zustand aus ihm entnommen werden können. Der Apparat besteht im wesentlichen aus einem elektrisch beheizbaren, mit destilliertem Wasser gefüllten, luft- und wasserdiclit verschließbaren Gefäß, daß zur Aufnahme geeigcieter Einsiitze dient, in welchen die Spritzen und andere Geräte, beispielsweise Pinzetten., Kanülen u. dgl., erschütterungsfrei untergebracht werden können. Vorzugsweise besitzt der Einsatz je einen oberen und unteren Boden, die durch einen mittleren Träger oder geeignete Versteifungen so miteinander verbunden sind, daß der Einsatz als Ganzes herausnehmbar ist. Beide Böden sind mit Aussparungen versehen, durch welche die Spritzen bzw. deren Endnasen so gesteckt werden können, daß sie fest und sicher gehalten sind. Damit der gleiche Einsatz auch für Spritzen verschiedener Größen verwendbar ist, empfiehlt es sich, den oberen Boden der Höhe nach verstellbar einzurichten, beispielsweise mit Hilfe einer Schraubspindel, einer Klemmschraube od. dgl. Auch ist es vorteilhaft, für jedes Gerät .mehrere verschiedenartige auswechselbare Einsätze vorzusehen, insbesondere auch mit Rücksicht darauf, daß gegebenenfalls auch andere Gegenstände als Spritzen mitgeführt werden können.
