Der Apparat besteht aus einem mit zwei hohlen Axen versehenen drehbaren Körper, welcher auf der einen Seite ein geschlossenes Gefäfs, auf der anderen Seite ein verstellbares Gegengewicht trägt. Das Condensationswasser tritt bei α ein und fliefst von hier aus in das Gefäfs b. Der Austritt des Wassers erfolgt durch den Hahn c, und ist der dahin führende Kanal durch das Rohr d bis auf den Boden des Gefäfses b verlängert.The apparatus consists of a rotatable body with two hollow axes, which carries a closed vessel on one side and an adjustable counterweight on the other.
