Der Kasten ist innen vollständig glatt, außen weitgehend. Er läßt sich leicht sauberhalten. Die Ausführung in Kunststoff erlaubt ferner zum Unterschied von Holzkästen, daß man die Kästen in beliebiger Weise färben kann, daher können die neuen Kästen sehr leicht entweder den Farbtönen angepaßt werden, welche auf die verschiedenen Lieferfirmen hinweisenoder auf besondere Obst- und Getiüsearten. Wenn auch die Kästen in erster Linie zur Einwegbeförderung von Obst und Gemüse dienen sollen, empfiehlt ihre leichte Sauberhaltung und ihre Festigkeit gegen Beschädigung und Verschleiß sie für viele andere technische Verwendungszwecke, in welchen sie den Gebrauchswert solcher Beförderungsmittel erhöhen.two at right angles and butt against each other profile strips (2).
