Die Neuerung betrifft einen aus einem Messer, einer Gabel oder einem Löffel bestehenden Einweg-Besteckteil aus Kunststoff.The innovation relates to a disposable piece of plastic cutlery consisting of a knife, fork or spoon.

Bei Einwegbestecken, wie sie z. B. von den Fluggesellschaften für die Bewirtung der Fluggäste verwendet werden, d. h. Bestecken, die nach Gebrauch weggeworfen werden, kommt es darauf an, daß die Bestecke mit möglichst geringem Materialaufwand und daher möglichst billig herstellbar sind, andererseits aber doch eine ausreichende Griffigkeit besitzen. Zur Lösung dieses Problems ist gemäß der Neuerung der Stiel des Besteckteils über seine größte Länge hohl ausgebildet und besitzt eine verhältnismäßig geringe Wandstärke. Durch diese neue Ausbildung erfordert der Stiel, der als solcher das größte Volumen des Besteckteils einnimmt, nur verhältnismäßig wenig Material, während er andererseits ohne größeren Materialaufwand derart bemessen werden kann, daß er eine befriedigende Griffigkeit besitzt. Zweckmäßig ist" der Hohlraum des Stiels an dessen freiem Ende durchweine Abschlußkappe verschlossen, um den ästhetischen Gesarateindrt ;k des Besteckteils zu verbessern.For disposable cutlery, such as.
