Es sind sogenannte Wattestäbchen bekannt, die im allgemeinen aus einem Stäbchen aus Holz oder Papier becteben, an dessen einem oder vorzugsweise beiden Enden Wattebäusche befestigt sind. Nachteilig bei diesen Wattestäbchen ist, daß das Matrial, aus dem da^ Stäbchen selbst besteht, verhältnismäßig kostspielig in der Anschaffung ist und umständliche Herstellungsverfahren bedingt.
