Es ist ferner an und für sich bekannt, überlastungsträge Sicherungen dadurch zu erzielen, daß ein leicht schmelzender Leiter und ein Silberleiter in der Weise parallel geschaltet werden, daß bei Überstrom zunächst der leicht schmelzende und erst zum Schluß der aus Silber bestehende Leiter abschmilzt. Der Zweck dieser Staffelung des Abschmelzvorganges besteht darin, den am Silberdraht auftretenden Unterbrechungslichtbogen von den leicht verdampfbaren Metallen niedrigen Schmelzpunktes fernzuhalten. Aus diesem Grunde wurden die beiden Leiter in voneinander getrennten Kanälen der Patrone untergebracht. Es mußte dabei eine verteuerte Herstellung in Kauf genommen werden, ferner hatten die Patronen nicht den bei D-Sicherungen üblichen axial angeordneten Kenndraht.
