Abstract

The device (1) has rectangular panels (2) juxtaposed with each other and mounted on a suspended slab or a carcass of a framed structure. An attachment sub-assembly (6) of a main runner (4) is formed of profiled parts cooperating with a surface contact at proximity of lower end portions of lower hooks, respectively. Longitudinal edges (2') of the panels are provided with or formed by portions of C-shape sectioned profiles to be engaged in the lower hooks and to be stopped against portions of the profiled parts constituting the attachment sub-assembly. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating an accessible suspended ceiling device.
