Abstract

The dryer (1) has a vapor generator (12) inside a body of the dryer. A lift pump (21) is connected in downstream to a movable condensed water collecting tray (22) and in upstream of an intermediate tray (24) that is connected to a drying circuit (4) having a condenser (9). The tray (22) supplies condensate water to the generator, where the tray has an overflow device (23) pouring out excess condensate water in the tray (24). An independent claim is also included for a method for supplying condensate water for a vapor generator of a clothes dryer.
