Abstract

A bag clamping member(2) has two hinge-connected rectangular shanks(3) which fold towards each other on opposite sides of the bag sealing flap. A fastener(9,10) at one end of the shanks connects the folded shanks to each other and to the plastic bag. The fastener also acts as a swivelling point for the clamping member.
