Abstract

The invention relates to a device for supporting the displacement and for elastically locking switching parts, more particularly switch tongues in streetcar rail switches, comprising an axially displaceable tube or rod with recesses on its periphery for locating radially displaceable locking members and a pipe concentrically surrounding the pipe or the rod with recesses for locating locking members that are radially displaced outwards. The locking members (14, 15) are mounted on two lengths of pipe or retainers (12, 13) separated at an axial distance between the pipe (16) and the rod (4). An axial pressure spring (18) is arranged between the lengths of pipe or retainers (12, 13).
