Description

Die mit diesen Farbstoffen angefärbten Lichthofschutz- bzw. Filterschichten haben den Vorteil, daß, sie ausgesprochen substantiven Charakter besitzen, also das Bindemittel der Schicht sehr gut anfärben und trotzdem vom alkalischen Entwickler in kurzer Zeit vollständig und dauerhaft entfärbt werden. Sie unterscheiden sich hierin vorteilhaft von den an sich zur Herstellung von Lichthofschutz- und Filterschichten bereits bekannten substantiven Azofarbstoffen, die sich erst nach dem -Entwicklungsprozeß mit Hilfe besonderer Bäder (z. B. Das Kondensationsprodukt von p-Phenylchinaldindimethylsulfat und Dimethylamidobenzaldehyd, violett gefärbt. Zur Herstellung von Lichthofschutz- oder Filterschichten mit diesen Farbstoffen verfährt man nach der im Hauptpatent (Patent 518 363) angegebenen Weise. An Stelle der Gelatine können auch andere quellbare Kolloide, z. B. polyglukuronsaures Calcium, als Bindemittel verwendet werden.The following dyes may be mentioned as examples.
