Description
Olein gefettet. Neben der — " 5 Aufhebung der inneren Reibung der den Faden bildenden Fasern soll hierdurch auch eine glattere Verarbeitung derselben im Spinnoder Webprozeß erreicht werden, ebenso beim Trennen von Fasermaterial, beispielsweise beiIn order to increase the carding and spinning ability of fiber materials, the same Filled predominantly with technical oleic acid, the so-called oleic. In addition to the - "5 Removal of the internal friction of the thread The aim of this is to make the fibers forming a smoother processing of the same in the spinning or Weaving process can be achieved, as well as when separating fiber material, for example at

Die Verwendung des Oleins hat zwangsläufig aber einen bedeutenden Angriff auf gewisse aus Metall oder Leder bestehende Einzelteile der im Spinnerei- undίο the regeneration of waste material in the Ragging. The use of the olein, however, inevitably has a significant attack on certain individual parts made of metal or leather in the spinning and
Diesen Produkten fehlt jedoch der fettende Charakter, welcher erforderlich ist, um dem Fasermaterial eine gute Spinnfähigkeit zu erteilen, so daß sie keinen Eingang in die Praxis finden konnten.! 5 machines used in the weaving process Consequence, so that one also often replaces the olein for fatliquoring the fiber materials neutral oils such as peanut oil or olive oil and the like. Instead of the latter are already synthetic esters of technical oleic or fatty acids with methyl, Ethyl or isopropyl alcohol has been used. However, all of these materials are liable a technical deficiency because they are due to their unsaturated character or on Because of their content of highly unsaturated fat products, certain dangers for those with do not exclude the textiles they have treated. Technology seeks such dangers through it to eliminate the possibility of them by determining the so-called Mackey number manages to exclude obviously unsuitable fat products from use from the outset. Nevertheless, the danger remains to a certain extent because the Determination of the Mackey number precise information on the composition of the applied Unable to give fat products. In any case, the analysis of such fat products has The recently used determination of the number of rhodes shows that even after the Mackey test, usable products cause damage of the textile goods. It has also been suggested the acidic To use esters of phthalic acid as spinning and lubricating agents. These products are missing however, the greasy character, which is required to give the fiber material a good quality To grant spinning ability so that they could not find their way into practice.
Beim Schmälzen von Spinnfasern mit diesen Estern ergibt sich des weiteren der Vorteil, daß das Fasermaterial auf Grund des leicht flüssigen Aggregatzustandes der zum Fetten benutzten Ester äußerst leicht durchdrungenIt has now been found, however, that the saturated or nearly saturated higher Fatty alcohols and low molecular weight saturated fatty acids existing synthetic Esters miss these deficiencies and that, for example, products such as cetylacetate or the lauryl propionate is excellent for the purposes in question here are usable, especially since they can also be used with numerous emulsifiers too extremely combine effective products. The Mackey number of such products is extraordinary low, provided that the iodine number is also at ο or as close as possible to ο lies, but at least does not exceed 20. When melting staple fibers with them Esters also have the advantage that the fiber material is light due to the The liquid state of aggregation of the esters used for greasing is extremely easy to penetrate

A technically excellently suitable lubricant arises, for example, when 90 parts of cetylacetate are mixed with 10% of a sulfosalt which is obtained by sulfonation of the cetyl alcohol and neutralization of the sulfuric acid half-ester thus obtained with triethanolamine or piperidine was obtained.
The sulfosalt mentioned in the example can also be replaced by suitable salts of Fatty or oxy fatty acids, the cetylacetate by esters similar in composition, such as for example lauryl propionate or octyl butyrate.
