Die bisher bekannten Mittel haben indessen in der Praxis nicht völlig zufriedenstellen können, da sie z. Zweckmäßigerweise setzt man noch geringe Mengen eines Konservierungsmittels hinzu. Ein derartiges Mittel zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß es auch schon auf eine nasse Scheibe ohne Beeinträchtigung seiner Wirkung aafgetragen werden kann, und daß diese viele Stunden anhält, auch dann, wenn die Scheibe bereits getrocknet ist und einem neuerlichen Aufprallen von Regentropfen ausgesetzt wird. Weiterhin ruft das neue Mittel keine Trübung bzw. Verschmierung der Scheibe hervor, so daß ihre Durchsicht gewahrt bleibt.
