Description

1878.1878.

Klasse 44.Class 44.

ALEXANDER GOLL in FRANKFURT a. M. Neuerung an Armbändern und anderen Schmuckgegenständen.ALEXANDER GOLL in FRANKFURT a. M. Innovation in bracelets and other jewelry.

Patentirt im Deutschen Reiche vom 26. November 1878 ab.Patented in the German Empire on November 26, 1878.

These innovations affect the type and location of the hinge. Its peculiarity consists in the fact that the connected parts do not fold open or against each other, but are twisted against each other. The hinge pin is tangential to the Circling the bracelet.

Fig. Ι shows, for example, the way in which the hinge is used on a bracelet that wraps around the arm in several parallel windings. The individual pieces (here forming a snake) are twisted apart in a manner similar to that of a gas candlestick attached to the wall, so that the shape of Fig. 4 is obtained. The rotation takes place around a pin s, Fig. 3, which is inserted in the following way: The individual clasps of the bracelet are hollow. A tube r is soldered into part α , into which the pin ί is previously inserted; it can be rotated in the tube. The second part b is now pushed over the soldered-in tube r and secured by a transverse pin q, which penetrates its walls and the pin ί. The pin q is soldered in b.

To put on the bracelet in the form of a snake, the same is done in bent state, Fig. 4, placed close behind the hand on the arm and the same at the successive settlement of the individual parts held up or down. To a To avoid self-opening of the bracelet, as indicated in Fig. 2, the end of the line be connected by a chain to the head of the same.

Fig. S shows in what way the hinge on a necklace, a watch chain or the like Use jewelry objects.

The advantage of the hinge is that it is invisible to the eye when it is fully assembled is.
