Verfahren zur Herstellung von in trockenem Zustand versandfähigen Schrumpfkapseln aus Cellulose Im Patent 457 542 ist gezeigt worden, daß man durch Zusatz von geringen Mengen in Wasser leicht löslicher Stoffe, wie Natriumcarbonat, Natriumsulfit usw., zu in wasserfeuchtem Zustand befindlichen Schrumpfkapseln aus Celllulose iund nachträgliches Trocknen Kapseln erhalten kann, die beim Einlegen in Wasser stark quellen und in diesem Zustand ein hohes Schruanpfungsvermögen besitzen. Eine Ausnahme machen hiervon nur Calciumchlorid, Zinkchlorid, Calciumrhodanid, also Salze, die sehr stark dispergierend auf Cellulose einwirken. Letztere vermögen das Quellungsvermögen der Kapseln nicht sehr wesentlich zu steigern, auch ergeben sie Kapseln, die an der Luft ständig feucht bleiben. So sind z. B. die nach der britischen Patentschrift 236 336 hergestellten Kapseln dauernd naß, abgesehen davon, daß ihre Herstellung erheblich unwirtschaftlicher als die nach der vorliegenden Erfindung ist. Beispiel Man tränkt eine wasserfeuchte Schrumpfkapsel mit einer Lösung aus io Gewichtsteilen Glycerin, 2o Gewichtsteilen Magnesiumsulfat in 7o Teilen Wasser und trocknet die Kapsel.
