Description
Walze, insbesondere Abstützwalze, für Kaltwalzwerke Es sind Walzen bekannt, bei denen auf einen Kern ans verhältnismäßig weichem; zähem Werkstofft einzelne Ringe mit hoher Oberflächenhärte als Mantel aufgeschrumpft oder in sonst geeigneter Weise befestigt werden. Diese -einzelnen Ringe stoßen stumpf gegeneinander. Dadurch ist mit Sicherheit eine einwandfreie Oberfläche nicht zu erzielen, wie es für- Wälzen, @ irsbAöndere Abstütz= walzen, für hochbeanspruchte Kaltwalzwerke Bedingung ist. Eine solche vollständige Yerfestigung der einzelnen Ringe zu einer Einheit wird erfindungsgemäß durch die Ausbildung der Stoßflächen der Walzenringe als Kegel oder Hohlkegel erreicht. In der Zeichnung ist das Wesen der Erfindung dargestellt. Fig. t und 3 stellen Längsschnitte durch eine Walze gemäß der neuen Erfindung, Fig. 2 und :l Querscbnitte zweier verschiedener Ausführungsformen dar. In den Abbildungen bedeutet i und 3 den Kern aus zähem und verhältnismäßig weichem Werkstoff. 2 und 4 sind die einzeln aufgesetzten Ringe, die mit kegel- und hohlkegelartigen `Flächen an den Stoßstellen versehen sind. Die einzelnen Ringe werden durch einen Schrumpfring 5 gehalten. Bei Fig. i sind die Stoßflächen Kegel und Hohlkegel. Bei Fig. 3 laufen diese' Tiegel oder Hflhlkegel innen und außen abgestumpft aus. Die Innenfläche der Ringe kann' glatt oder mit Nuten versehen sein, wie es die Querschnitte Abb. 2 und 4-darstellen..
