H. STRATMANN in UELZEN. Wasser-Ballons - Maschine.H. STRATMANN in UELZEN. Water Balloons Machine.
Patentirt im Deutschen Reiche vom 14. August 1878 ab.Patented in the German Empire on August 14, 1878.
This machine is based on the use of the buoyancy that a balloon experiences in the water, and the driving down of the same by weight of water, with the loss of water only is low.
The process water is directed from the inflow channel e to the cylinder-shaped water basin /, which is completely filled with water. As soon as the valve d is lifted, the water enters the box c and so under the piston balloon ζ ,. This cylindrical, hollow balloon is made of sheet metal, has a piston at the lower end and is inserted into the cylinder h. If the piston balloon 2, with the connected simple larger balloon i u>, which is attached above the slide beam J, moves with the two guide rods k, and k n , together with the cross bar /, drive rod m, control pin n { n n and with the operating lever O 1 upwards, so the control pin "hits the crossbar u, which is rotatable about the pin t , pushes it upwards and thereby moves the rack s, the two comb wheels r, r ,, and with it the butterfly valve rack q 'and the butterfly valve p. As a result of this, the flap valve closes the water supply under the piston balloon i t , while the water located under the same flows off through the channel y . Now the weight of the water presses the balloons just described with the parts attached to them down again. The control pin «,, hits the crossbar u and thereby reverses the machine. Ο the weight acts as a counterbalance to the rack s. The w on the ball track, movable ball 11 W is used to hold the valve /. The valve p is regulated by the two screws X 1 x f.
sind Ventile,are valves
Das Schwungrad ist in der Zeichnung nicht angegeben.which prevent the earthy parts, which the water carries with it, from depositing in the cylinder. The machine's balancer has its pivot point at O n . The flywheel is not shown in the drawing.
