Description
Slag cement from blast furnace slag and portland cement are both Blast furnace cements made from blast furnace slag and Portland cement as well as slag cements known from blast furnace slag, cement and lime. In the latter case, the three Components used in approximately equal parts, and as lime are used in the Usually calcareous clinker or hydrated lime is used. Cements are also made from blast furnace slag known with small additions of lime and gypsum.
Experiment 3 shows the great superiority of the new cement. Elevated if the amounts of Portland cement to be added are used, further increases in strength are obtained, However, they are not in proportion to the additional costs.
