Abstract

Closing aid (1) for closing a vehicle door, bonnet, boot lid, rear tailgate, etc. comprises a bolt- or clip-like closing element (17). The closing element is moved from an unlocked into a locked position and vice versa by a drive device having a drive motor with a gear. In the unlocked position the closing element is surrounded by a pivoting fork latch assigned to the door lock so that the closing element during movement into the locked position pulls the vehicle door into the closed position via the fork latch. The gear of the drive device has a driven wheel (6) rotating about an axis (9) connected via a clutch (7) to a cam wheel (8) rotating about the same axis of rotation as the driven wheel. The cam wheel supports actuating cams (10) arranged eccentrically to the axis of rotation. The actuating cams engage in a recess in the support plate (16) supporting the closing element and carry the support plate during its movement from the unlocked into the locked position or vice versa.
