Abstract

The invention relates to a method for the treatment of objects with abrasives, wherein the abrasives are blasted onto the object to be treated by means of a flow of gas. The invention is characterized in that the abrasive used is dry ice and the objects treated consist of materials or are coated with materials that have a higher hardness than dry ice but a lower thermal conductivity than the support material of the object to which the materials or coatings adhere and/or on which the materials or coatings are disposed. The abrasive treatment is preferably carried using CO2 pellets.
