Abstract

A length of e.g. hose or cable is wound on a drum (4) supported within a transport frame assembly (5). The drum is supported on the transport frame by a spindle (1). The drum has a core (10) surrounded by a void (11) for the hose or cable. The frame shifts on arms (2, 3) as required between an operating position (15) and a folded position (16). One arm terminates in a wheel (7). In the folded presentation one or both of the arms retracts to within the transport frame.
