Abstract

The method involves moving a roll (2) perpendicular to a longitudinal axis (4) by a roller bearing device (5) designed as a roller transport device (6). Blanks (18.1, 18.2) are cut from a parallelly aligned and polyethylene-coated packaging paper web (11) by cutting devices (17.1, 17.2) during continuous movement of the roll. The polyethylene-coated packaging paper web is discharged from front sides (3.1, 3.2) of the roll after manufacturing the blanks, where the blanks correspond to the front sides of the roll.
