Abstract

The wheelchair has a base frame with two side frames (1,2) and transverse cross beams (3) connecting the side frames. A backrest frame (4) is fixed to the base frame in the rear region of the base. A seat frame (5) has lateral holding elements. The holding elements and seat frame engage into guide rails arranged in the side frame. A coupling element is provided between backrest frame and the seat frame, which transfers a deviation of the backrest frame onto the seat frame such that the seat frame is moved into the guide rails by the holding elements.
