Abstract

The circuit has a filament transformer (HzTr) with the secondary winding (L s1,L s2) connected to a coil electrode (W 1,W 2). The circuit also has a primary winding (L p1,L p2) provided with voltage and magnetically coupled with the secondary winding. The multiple magnetically coupled coils are provided at the primary winding, which are alternative or combined activated, in order to provide different heating output (P h1,P h2). INDEENDENT CLAIMS are also included for the following: (1) an operating device for fluorescent lamps (2) a method for heating coil electrodes of fluorescent lamps (3) an electronic control unit.
