Abstract

The side folded bag has two front walls (1) that connect the side folds (2a,2b) and a lamellar handle loop (3) at one of the side folds. The handle loop is arranged transverse to the longitudinal direction of the side fold. The ends (4) of the handle loop are guided into the side folded bag through openings (5) at the front walls. The ends are fastened at the inner surface of the side fold. The ends of the handle loop are fastened at the inner surface of the side fold and at the inner surfaces of the front walls by the sealed seams. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a side folded bag.
