Abstract
The method involves providing flood water pump installations (14) in a flood water pumping plant (15). The flood water pumping plant is lowered to an upper rest position when a critical flood water mark (13) is higher than canal-sided maximum tolerable retention water level elevation. Discharged water amount is raised by pressurized pipes, which are coupled to the flood water pump installation, over an upper edge of a discharge control system (9) and discharged into a flood water guiding discharge system.
