Abstract
The high-tension circuit breaker has a metal tank filled with insulation gas and an arcing chamber embedded in the tank. A housing (3) is aligned along an axis and an arcing contact arrangement is located in the housing. An exhaust volume is limited by the housing and an outlet channel is guided through the wall of the housing for exhaust gas (9). An electrically screened annular edge (21), which rotates around the axis, is arranged on a front side (20) of the housing mount (18), which serves to separate a flow of exhaust gas that comes out of the outlet channel from a housing mount.
