Abstract

The invention relates to a cabinet-type piece of furniture comprising at least one door element, especially a blind, roll front, sliding door, and similar, at least one guiding element that is fastened to the cabinet-type piece of furniture, at least one deflection element, and a cover element. The guiding element is effectively connected to the deflection element. The aim of the invention is to create a cabinet-type piece of furniture which overcomes the drawbacks known in prior art, is economical and inexpensive to produce and assemble, can be retrofitted with additional gliding and sliding elements, can be equipped in both in-front variants and pre-front variants, in which the guiding element can be used multifunctionally, and which has a look or design that is appealing to or can be modified by the user. Said aim is achieved by embodying the cover element so as to protrude past at least one free end of the guiding element while the cover element is joined at least in part to the deflection element and the guiding element.
