Abstract

An insulating interrupting slider is provided in the contact plane, to interrupt and completely cover the contact surfaces of contacts of the braking resistance of the electric motor, without arcing. The slider is moved by a switching spring which is activated by a fusible bar which releases when the melting temperature is reached.
