Abstract

The air wall device for the separating of two areas (5,6) lying on both sides of door opening (8) in a building has a first and second air outlet through which a first and second compressed airflow each in the form of an air wall (4a,4b) emerges at an angle of 0 to 60 degrees to the plane of the door opening. The second air outlet similar to the first is located in the closing region of the door (9) and is entrained by the door. The air outlets entrained by the door are connected by at least one flexible pipe to a corresponding air fan.
