Abstract

The holder (1) for connection of a separate upper portion of a mattress to a lower portion has two long flexible rods (5,6) side-by-side. They are joined by clamps (12) with hooked ends (13,14) and engaging tongues (9,10) on plates or strips (3,4) fastened to the mattress portions. There are regions with many slits (7,8) with strips of material passing alternately on either side of the rods.
