Abstract

The rotating or oscillatory platform (17) is for therapeutic use. It has a support surface (15) suspended on at least three pendulae (14) and a supporting column (16) fixed rigidly to the top of the support surface. Its top is attached rigidly to the platform. The whole device can be placed on a load-bearing structure (10) with supports (11,12) and holder (13) from which a support surface, with column fixed to its middle, is suspended using three pendulae. With such an arrangement the oscillation of the platform can be overlaid with a translational motion. If the translational motion is not desired, it can be reduced or eliminated by the lead around the column.
