Abstract

The ionisation electrode (12) is integrally formed from a wire (15) in the electric cable (13) connectable to the high voltage source. The wire is insulated and has a sharp end (18) for generating a concentrated magnetic field. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) Hair dryer, preferably a hand-held one, containing the hair care device and provided with a metallic mesh in the hot air outlet in the dryer casing; (B) Hot air curlers with the hair care device; and (C) Hair brush with the hair care device, whose high voltage source is battery-powered.
