Abstract

The oven door (8), especially for a domestic cooker, has an outer pane (10) bonded to at least two spaced carriers (11,12) with a seal (95) between them and an outer seal (96). An inner pane (13) is also fitted to the carriers, in a release mounting and/or parallel to the outer pane. The door assembly closes the oven opening in a gas-tight fit.
