Description
Vorrichtung zur Messung der Energie zu verbrennender Gase Die Bestimmung der durch einen bestimmten Rohrquerschnitt hindurchgeströmten Energie zu verbrennender Gase wird bisher auf indirektem Wege vorgenommen, indem man zunächst die Gasmenge und sodann den Heizwert ermittelt und deren Produkt bildet, wobei für genaue Messungen neben den üblichen Mengenmeßgeräten entweder direkt volumetrischer Art oder auf der Basis einer Stauscheibenmessung auch die Registrierung des Druckes und der Temperatur erforderlich ist. Diese Messungen werden teuer, umständlich und auch nicht völlig genau, weil die Korrektur der Gasmengen je nach Druck und Temperatur nur mit dem Mittelwert der letzteren vorgenommen werden kann. Als einzige Meßgeräte, welche diese Korrektur entbehrlich machen, sind die Teilstrommesser im Handel, wobei die Druckdifferenz an einer Drosselscheibe eine Düse derart steuert, daß die aus der letzteren austretende Gasmenge in einem bestimmten Verhältnis zu der durch die Drosselscheibe hindurchgehenden Menge steht. Der Kauf von brennbaren Gasen, vor allem bei größeren Mengen, braucht dann nicht mehr auf der Basis des Preises eines Kubikmeters unter Festhaltung eines mittleren Heizwertes zu erfolgen, sondern es kann direkt ein Preis für eine bestimmte Menge bezogener, durch Verbrennung nutzbar zu machender Wärmeeinheiten festgelegt werden. Die direkte Messung der Energie wird dadurch erreicht, daß man bei Strömungsteilern die austretende und von der Druckdifferenz an der Drosselscheibe gesteuerte Teilgasmenge einem Kalorimeter zuführt, welches anzeigend, registrierend oder auch zählend sein kann. Die bereits vorhandenen Strömungsteiler und Gaskalorimeter können hierfür nach kleinen konstruktiven Umänderungen benutzt werden. Schwankungen des Druckes und der Temperatur sind auf das Meßergebnis ohne Einfluß, weil die Teilgasmenge zu der gesamten Gasmenge in einem von Druck und Temperatur unabhängigen Verhältnis steht.
