Description
Verfahren zur Gewinnung von Seifen aus flüssigen, trockenen und halbtrockenen Ölen oder Fetten Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Gewinnung harter Seife und Seifenpulvers aus flüssigen pflanzlichen und tierischen Fetten. Zu dieser Fettkategorie rechnet man die sogenannten trockenen und halbtrockenen Fette, wie z. B. Leinöl, Sonnenblumenöl, Baumwollöl usw. Das neue Verfahren unterscheidet sich von den schon früher bekannten dadurch, daß die trockenen und halbtrockenen Öle vorher bei gewöhnlicher Temperatur mit in Wasser unlöslichen Chromsalzen, z. B. des Calciums, Bariums oder Bleies, unter Zugabe von Schwefelsäure oder einer anderen Säure, welche in Wasser unlösliche Salze des Calciums, Bariums oder Bleies ergibt, behandelt werden. Nach dem Waschen der Fette mit Wasser ergeben die auf obenerwähnte Weise bearbeiteten Öle und Fette unter Verseifung derselben mit Ätznatron, wie dies in der Seifenindustrie üblich ist, harte und haltbare Seifen. Um jedoch die Seifen vor Dunkelwerden und Bildung von Flecken zu bewahren, wird denselben eine kleine Menge von Metallen in pulverartigem oder kolloidalem Zustande zugesetzt. Als am besten geeignet hierzu haben sich Zink und Aluminium in pulverartigem oder kolloidalem Zustande gezeigt; dabei können diese Metalle in einem solchen Zustande mit verschiedenen neutralen Füllungen, wie z. B. Ton, Cellulose, vermischt sein.
