sich unterhalb des Nadelbetts befindet, um die Nadeln aus dem Nadelbett heraus in
den Bereich ,des jacquardschlosses j zu heben, werden bekanntlich die Nadeln n.
nicht unmittelbar, sondern durch Hilfsnadeln h (Abb. i) gehoben. Die Hilfsnadeln
drücken jedoch auch diejenigen Nadeln n,. hoch, die für das Warenstück jeweils nicht
gebraucht werden, also abgezogen sind, sowie auch die abgeminderten Nadeln (Abb.2).
Wenngleich durch dieses Empordrücken auch kein Fehler in der Ware entsteht, da die
Füße der Nadeln unterhalb des Jacquardschlosses j aus dem Nadelbett herausragen,
so hat sich doch gezeigt, daß ein unnötiger Verschleiß von Nadeln stattfindet und
daß Nadeln, die sich durch irgendwelchen unglücklichen Umstand etwa nach oben bewegen,

Vorliegende Erfindung behebt diesen Übelstand dadurch, daß die Hilfsnadeln
h (Abb. 3, und q.) außer Tätigkeit gesetzt werden können, -und zwar derart, daß
sie gänzlich außer Bereich des Jacquardzylinders w gebracht werden können. In Abb.
3 ist dargestellt, wie die Hilfsnadeln h in ihrer Tätigkeitsstellung durch den Jacquardzylinder
w um den Stab s in die Höhe gedreht werden, damit die zugehörige Stricknadel ia
aus dem Nadelbett heraus in den Bereich des Jacquardschlossesj gedreht wird. Die
Hilfsnadel hat zweckmäßig eine Krümmung k, die bewirkt, daß sie in ihrer Arbeitsstellung
sicher verharren kann. Ebenso bewirkt die Feder f ein sicheres Festhalten in dieser
Stellung. In Abb. 4 ist dargestellt, wie die Hilfsnadeln h auch in ihrer Außertätigkeitsstellung
:durch den Stab s in Verbindung mit der Krümmung k1 sicher festgehalten werden.
In dieser Stellung befindet sich die Hilfsnadel h vollständig außerhalb des Bereichs
des Jacquardzylinders w, so daß bei der Bewegung der Jacquardwalze gegen das Nadelbett
die Nadeln der außer Tätigkeit gesetzten Hilfsnadeln h im Innern des Nadelbetts
völlig in Ruhelage verharren können.The present invention overcomes this drawback in that the auxiliary needles
