Außerdem dienen sie aber auch noch zur Verhütung von Kurzschlüssen, indem sie verhindern, daß das feuerfeste Material, das meist sehr hygroskopisch ist, mit spannungsführenden Teilen in· Berührung kommt und zwischen Teilen verschiedenen Piotenjtials Kurzschlüsse einleitet. Diese Anordnung hat aber noch nicht in allen Fällen befriedigt und soll nach der Erfindung weiter verbessert werden. Dies geschieht dadurch, daß die feuerfeste Schicht durch Schlitze unterteilt wird. Damit wird die Isolierung wesentlich verstärkt.
