Desweiteren zeigen die Fig. 1a bis 2b Schweißmuffen mit einem Widerstandsheizelement, das bis in die Nähe des Vorderendes des Einsteckabschnittes für das zu verschweißende Mehrschichtrohr reicht. Mit Hilfe dieses Widerstandsheizelementes wird auch der Bereich vor der Stirnfläche des Rohres erhitzt. In der jeweiligen Ausnehmung ist ein von der Schweißmuffe unabhängiger, selbständiger Distanzhalter bzw. Die Metallschicht liegt also an keiner Stelle frei, so daß eine Korrosion derselben zuverlässig verhindert wird. Jedes Verbundrohr 20 weist eine Kunststoff-Innenschicht 22, eine Kunststoff-Außenschicht 24 und zwischen der Innen- und Außenschicht 22, 24 eine Metallzwischenschicht 26 auf. Ein solches Kunststoff-Metall-Verbundrohr mit einer Metallzwischenschicht aus Kupfer ist im DE-GM 921 07 699 der Anmelderin offenbart. Der Wulst 16 bzw. die Stoßflächen 18 des Wulstes 16 weisen eine radiale Abmessung a auf, die größer ist als die Summe aus der Wanddicke b der Kunststoff-Außenschicht 24 und der Wanddicke c der Metallschicht 26 des jeweiligen Verbundrohres 20, so daß beim Verschweißen der Verbundrohre 20 mit der Verbindungseinrichtung 10 die Metallzwischenschicht 26 durch den Wulst 16 allseitig bedeckt und somit gegen Einflüsse des die Verbundrohre 20 durchströmenden Mediums zuverlässig geschützt ist. Das bedeutet, daß z. Auch bei der in Fig. 3 gezeichneten Ausbildung der Verbindungseinrichtung 10 ist jeder der beiden hülsenförmigen Einsteckabschnitte 14 des Hülsen-Winkelstückes 42 mit einem elektrischen Widerstandsheizelement 32 versehen, das von einem Widerstandsdraht gebildet ist. Die Widerstandsheizelemente 32 ragen mit Anschlußenden 34 aus dem Hülsen-Winkelstück 42 heraus, so daß die Widerstandsheizelemente 32 miteinander in Serie oder parallelgeschaltet werden können. Jedes der beiden Widerstandsheizelemente 32 ist mit einem ersten Abschnitt 36 im Bereich des jeweiligen hülsenförmigen Einsteckabschnittes 14 und mit einem zweiten Abschnitt 38 im Bereich der jeweils zugehörigen Stoßfläche 18 versehen, wobei die beiden Abschnitte 36 und 38 des jeweiligen Widerstandsheizelementes 32 voneinander verschiedene spezifische Heizleistungen aufweisen können. Claims (9)

Einrichtung zum Verbinden von mindestens zwei Kunststoff- Metall-Verbundrohren (20) durch Verschweißen, wobei die Verbundrohre (20) eine Kunststoff-Außenschicht (24), eine Kunststoff-Innenschicht (22) und zwischen diesen beiden Schichten (22, 24) eine Metallzwischenschicht (26) aufweisen, und wobei die Verbindungseinrichtung (10) mit hülsenförmigen Einsteckabschnitten (14) für die Verbundrohre (20) ausgebildet und mit einem elektrischen Widerstandsheizelement (32) versehen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jeder hülsenförmige Einsteckabschnitt (14) durch eine im Inneren der Verbindungseinrichtung (10) umlaufende Stoßfläche (18) begrenzt ist, daß das Widerstandsheizelement (32) mit einem ersten Abschnitt (36) im Bereich des jeweiligen hülsenförmigen Einsteckabschnittes (14) und mit einem zweiten Abschnitt (38) im Bereich der jeweils zugehörigen Stoßfläche (18) vorgesehen ist, und daß das Widerstands-Heizelement (32) derartig ausgebildet ist, daß seine spezifische Heizleistung im ersten Abschnitt (36) kleiner ist als die spezifische Heizleistung im zweiten Abschnitt (38). 1.
