Abstract
Description

So ist es beispielsweise im land wirtschaftlichen Bereich bekannt, daß Gülle, d. h. das Abfallpro dukt aus der Tierhaltung, unverändert auf die Felder ausgebracht wird. Diese Gülle in konzentrierter Form führt aber in der Regel zu einem Überangebot an Nitrat, das die Pflanzen nicht aufnehmen können. Das nicht aufgenommene Nitrat gelangt in das Trinkwasser und führt dort zu einer Verunreinigung. Darüber hinaus ist das Ausbringen des flüssigen Mists auf die Felder mit einer großen Geruchsbelästigung verbunden. Daß es sich hierbei um eine gravie rende Problemstellung handelt, zeigt die Tatsache, daß allein in Deutschlands intensivsten Gülle-Gebieten pro Jahr 5,5 Millionen m3 anfallen, die entweder auf die Felder ausgebracht werden müs sen oder entsorgt werden müssen. Ein Ausbringen auf die Felder darf in Deutschland nur vom 1. Januar bis zum 15. Oktober erfol gen.
