Abstract
Description
-
1. Lenkradgebundenes Sicherheits- und Warnsystem
- 2.1. Das Lenkrad eines Fahrzeugs dient bisher nur zur Richtungsänderung. Muß aber während der Fahrt immer bedient werden. Wenn es nicht ordnungsgemäß bedient wird, durch kurzfristig auftretende Untüchtigkeit des Fahrers (z. B. Einschlafen während der Fahrt, gesundheitliche Probleme oder auch zu umfangreichen Alkoholgenuß) bewegt sich das Fahrzeug auf der Straße unkontrolliert und wird damit zu einer Gefahr auch für andere Verkehrsteilnehmer.
- 2.2. Durch das folgende beschriebene Sicherheits- und Warnsystem soll, zur Minderung der oft tragischen Folgen, zuerst der Fahrer auf seine beeinträchtigte Fahrtauglichkeit hingewiesen und bei nicht Abschaltung durch den Fahrer die anderen Verkehrsteilnehmer auf ein mögliches unkontrolliertes Fahrverhalten hingewiesen sowie das Fahrzeug zum Stillstand gebracht werden.
- 2.3. Durch gebaute Druckschalter am Lenkrad, wie auf Skizze 1
beschrieben, die durch einen Stromkreis mit dem Anlasser,
einem kleinen Uhrmechanismus der den Bereich von 1-3 Sekunden
mißt sowie dem Gangschalter verbunden ist.
Solange, bei eingeschalteter Zündung, durch Handdruck die Schalter betätigt werden und der Strom fließt, bleibt das System außer Funktion. Wird aber der Kontakt unterbrochen soll der Uhrmechanismus in Kraft treten. Nach einer Sekunde soll über einem separaten Stromkreis, der automatisch nach einer Sekunde vom Uhrmechanismus geschlossen wird, in der Fahrzeugkabine eine Warnlampe aufleuchten und eine kleine Hupe in Funktion treten, so daß der Fahrer auf seine augenblickliche Untüchtigkeit hingewiesen wird. Wenn er jetzt die Fahrtauglichkeit wieder erlangt kann er den Uhrmechanismus durch einfach erneutes Betätigen der Druckschalter am Lenkrad zurück auf den Nullpunkt stellen und das System schaltet sich automatisch aus.
Bleibt der Uhrmechanismus aber auch nach der Wahrung des Fahrers in Kraft so soll nach drei Sekunden ein weiterer Stromkreis geschlossen werden, der die Warnblinker und die Fahrzeughupe in Funktion setzt um nachfolgende und alle in der Nähe befindlichen Verkehrteilnehmer auf das zu erwartende unkontrollierte Verhalten des Fahrzeugs hinzuweisen.
Einen noch größere Wirkung könnte durch eine Kupplung mit der Zündung und den Bremsen erreicht werden. So könnte nicht nur die anderen gewarnt sondern durch gleichzeitiges Abbremsen des Fahrzeugs die möglichen Unfallfolgen abgemildert werden, indem der Motor in seinem Lauf durch Abstellen der Zündung unterbrochen wird und die Bremsen das Fahrzeug gleichzeitig noch abbremsen. - 2.4. Das beschriebene System erschwert das Bedienen des Fahrzeugs
nicht. Es schaltet sich automatisch durch das Betätigen
des Anlassers und des Gangschalters ein.
Das System kann jederzeit unterbrochen werden, nach einer Sekunde durch das Betätigen der Druckschalter und nach Ablauf der drei Sekunden durch erneutes Starten und Betätigen des Gangschalters.
