Die Rohre des neuen wagerecht gelagerten Vorwärmers sind mit angegossenen Rippen versehen, die eine quadratische Form haben und geschlossene Leitwände für die Gase ergeben. Die angegossenen Rippen bilden eine Verstärkung der Rohre, denen sie unmittelbar die aufgenommene Wärme zuführen. Ihre quadratische Form vermehrt die Heizfläche und sichert eine allseitige Umspülung der Rohre durch die Abgase. Angegossene Rippen sowie auch quadratische Rippen sind zwar für sich nicht mehr neu, an Vorwärmern sind aber bis jetzt angegossene quadratische Rippen, welche die 1-leizgase in geschlossene einzelne Züge unterteilen, nicht verwendet worden.Flue gas preheater with horizontally lying finned tubes.
