Abstract
Description
Especially in the technical area, such as factories, auto repair shops etc. or after accidents there is a need to oil z. B. Motor oil, waste oil and / or oily emulsions (e.g. contaminated Cooling water). Also that of tankers and ships deliberately or mineral oil drained due to accidents or getting worn out Mixing with the sea water forming emulsion-like Oil spill can be removed using this method in an environmentally friendly manner will. The invention provides a remedy here.
(Z.B. kann auf dem Meer die Bewegung durch Schiffe oder durch den Seegang bewirkt werden).Foamed polystyrene is applied to the oil to be removed and / or the oil-containing emulsion to be removed and with the oil and / or that located on a water surface Oil-containing emulsion moved or stirred. (E.g. on the Sea causes the movement by ships or by the sea will).
As a result, the oil and / or the oil-containing emulsion to the foamed polystyrene bound and there are lumps that can be easily absorbed. With an oil slick on the These clumps can easily be pushed together at sea or on the shore be picked up and transported away. The foamed polystyrene is advantageously divided into finely divided Shape (particle shape) on the oil to be removed and / or the Oily emulsion sprinkled. This is particularly environmentally friendly the use of waste polystyrene. Under foamed Waste polystyrene in the sense of the invention is all foamed Polystyrene understood that for other purposes (Packaging, building material) was manufactured or at a Further processing occurs as waste and at the recipient and / or Processor is no longer needed. According to the waste laws of foamed polystyrene is separate to different countries dispose of and therefore easily reuse.
The following is an implementation device of the method according to claims 1 to 4:
With the styrofoam-filled nets according to claim 5, oil surfaces on the water can be limited. ( Fig. 1) This also allows oil spills to be kept away from certain areas. The device according to claim 6 can serve the same purpose. An additional advantage is that the barrier itself absorbs oil. Since foamed polystyrene floats on the water, it can be advantageous to provide the devices according to claims 5 and 6 with weights so that they dive deeper and behave more stable in rough seas. Buoys can also be attached to a swimming belt according to claim 6 ( FIG. 2).
The foamed polystyrene saturated with oil can by the Containment devices and / or by ships with special Skimming devices are obtained.
