Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von Brennstoffbriketten aus Kohlenklein mittels Sulfitzelluloseablauge. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Brennstoffbriketten aus Kohlenklein aller Art mittels Sulfitzelluloseablauge, Gips, Alaun und Formaldehyd. Gegenüber bekannten Verfahren dieser Art besteht das Neue und Eigenartige des vorliegenden Verfahrens darin, daß hier das Kohlenklein vor dem Zusatz der Sulfitablauge mit Schwefelkalzium vermischt und daß der Sulfitablauge Salpeter zugesetzt wird worauf alle Bestandteile miteinander vermischt und das Gemisch in der Kälte gepreßt wird. Es gelingt auf diese Weise, transportfähige, wetterbeständige Brikette ohne Anwendung künstlich erhöhter Temperatur herzustellen, das ganze Brikettierungsverfahren also vollständig in der Kälte auszuführen, während bei den bekannten Verfahren stets mindestens eine nachträgliche Erhitzung erforderlich war, um zu wetterbeständigen Briketten zu gelangen.Process for the production of fuel briquettes from small coal by means of sulphite cellulose liquor. Der so erhaltenen Mischung werden dann 3 Prozent einer Sulfitzellstoffablauge hinzugesetzt, die zuvor mit o,o5 Prozent salpetersaurem Kali o,o5 Prozent Alaun und o,o25 Prozent Formaldehyd versetzt worden ist. Als Sulfitablauge wird zweckmäßig solche von 35° B6 (im Verhältnis 1 : 3 mit Wasser verdünnt) benutzt. Beim Zusammenbringen dieser Bestandteile bzw. beim Zusatz des Schwefelkalziums zu der in der angegebenen Weise mit Salpeter ti. dgl. versetzten Stilfitablatige tritt plötzlich eine sehr starke Verdickung dieser Lauge unter Wärmeentwicklung ein, was auf den Eintritt einer chemischen Reaktion zurückzuführen ist, durch die die Gewinnung der wetterbeständigen Brikette erst ermöglicht wird.When carrying out the process, coal waste of all kinds, such as coal dust, coal and coke breeze, coal sludge, slag, sludge and the like, can be used by itself or in conjunction with other waste.
