Verfahren zur Herstellung von Brennstoffbriketten aus Kohlenklein mittels Sulfitzelluloseablauge. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Brennstoffbriketten aus Kohlenklein aller Art mittels Sulfitzelluloseablauge, Gips, Alaun und Formaldehyd. Gegenüber bekannten Verfahren dieser Art besteht das Neue und Eigenartige des vorliegenden Verfahrens darin, daß hier das Kohlenklein vor dem Zusatz der Sulfitablauge mit Schwefelkalzium vermischt und daß der Sulfitablauge Salpeter zugesetzt wird worauf alle Bestandteile miteinander vermischt und das Gemisch in der Kälte gepreßt wird. Es gelingt auf diese Weise, transportfähige, wetterbeständige Brikette ohne Anwendung künstlich erhöhter Temperatur herzustellen, das ganze Brikettierungsverfahren also vollständig in der Kälte auszuführen, während bei den bekannten Verfahren stets mindestens eine nachträgliche Erhitzung erforderlich war, um zu wetterbeständigen Briketten zu gelangen.Process for the production of fuel briquettes from small coal by means of sulphite cellulose liquor. Als Sulfitablauge wird zweckmäßig solche von 35° B6 (im Verhältnis 1 : 3 mit Wasser verdünnt) benutzt.
